Hello guys! Today I wanna talk about inspiration. When you're feeling inspired, the most magical things happen, believe me! So, today I'll share with you my top 5 tips on staying inspired.
“Inspiration is a guest that does not willingly visit the lazy.”
That's probably the easiest way to get inspiration without even leaving your computer desk (or bed). Every time I instantly need a boost of inspiration, I go on these websites. And considering the fact that I'm a visual, that helps a lot.
2. Take time for your hobby or try something new.
Doing the things I love always energizes me tremendously. Whether it's sport or scrapbooking, when you're passionate about something, it makes you happier and gives you a huge dose of inspiration.
Another way to go is to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. I pretty often find new inspiration (for example, for my blog), while I'm doing absolutely unrelated things. The point is, you never know when this light bulb would turn on in your head.
3. Go outside.
This one works for me the best. The moment I feel the most inspired is when I go somewhere outside. It could be a nice long walk at a park or around the city. Some quality time at a cozy cafe would work too.
4. Be around positive people.
I always try to surround myself with positive people, who give me that great energy. Happiness is sure as hell contagious! And I know that for all the introverts out there (myself included) the easier solution probably would be to lock yourself out of society and be all by yourself, but trust me, sometimes the very thing you need is some kind of interaction with people.
5. Read books.
With today's amount of information on the Internet, we sometimes forget about books at all. But I really think that nothing would ever replace a great book as it can give us lots of inspiration and even able to change our outlook on life.
On a cold evening I like to get cozy, pick a book and allow myself to fully get into the story. After reading a book I think that something just changes in my mind and I start looking differently at some things.
Hope that helps.
