  5. In my senior year of high school I had a teacher who told us that we needed to stop saying sorry if we didn't mean it. She would be like "Stop saying sorry, sorry, sorry" (keep in mind she was one of those teachers everyone was scared of because she was really intimidating). At first I was kind of like what? why? But it makes so much sense. The word sorry is used out of context all the time. People say sorry when they don't mean it or like the article says to be "polite". She kind of opened my eyes and showed me how true it is! I started noticing everyone (girls especially) saying sorry all the time and it got to a point where it kind of bugged me seeing them sound so inferior. I feel like apologizing has just kind of became a word of weakness and it shouldn't be like that.
