Today I wanna share with you one simple mindset shift kinda changed my life. The concept of it is basically to change your thought process from "I have to do that" to "I get to do that". Here's how it works: think about how many times you've complained, in your head or out loud, that you have to do this or that again, but really don't want to. Here's a trick: try to think instead that you have the ability to do that! For example, you think to yourself: "I have to walk my dog again, blah", but you get to have a dog, which I'm sure you love! Think about how much you wanted that dog! Or when you have to go to work/college. You actually get to do that, meanwhile some people can't find a job, or can't afford to pay for their higher education.
And I know how easy it can be to get caught up in those thoughts of "I have to do that". Even with writing blog posts, I love it more that anything in the world, yet I catch myself at times, thinking "Oh snap, I have to write a post today", when instead I should be grateful to have an opportunity for that creative outlet I get to have and all the people who are reading my blog and actually care about what I have to say.
Remember, it all starts in our minds, and by changing our mindset, we can completely change our reality!
