Life Lately: Books, Podcasts, Online Courses

All We Need | Trench Coat
Hello guys! It's been a while since I've done my last 'Life Lately' post, so here's another one. This last month I've been focusing mostly on my self-improvement. I figured that since I have a bit of free time on my hands, I might as well do something good with it, you know. I'm not gonna lie, dedicating specific time to different activities is hard. It takes discipline.

It's quite rewarding too. That feeling after you accomplished something, and it feels even better when you did that something for yourself. If you've read this post, you know I'm the type of person who has to be constantly doing something, sitting around is just not my thing. And honestly, the busier I am, the more I can get done in a day, which is a crazy paradox. So, what exactly I've been up to?

+ BOOKS: First and foremost, I've been reading a lot. I love my non-fictional books, but this month I've picked up a new strategy where I read 1 fictional and 1 non-fictional book at the same time. I think it works the best since you get the best of both world and you always have something for your current mood. I'm currently reading '50 Ways to Make Google Love Your Website' (yep, I guess the title is pretty self-explanatory) and yesterday I've started reading 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' and I can already tell that it's such a great book, I seriously can't put it down! If you've read it already, let me know how you liked it! Btw, I'm constantly showing the new books I'm reading on my Snapchat (alinaermilova).

+ PODCASTS: Of course, I'm still listening to podcasts, like all the time! You can check out my favorites right here. But seriously tho, I listen to them while I'm in the shower, getting ready, walking outside, working, cleaning, etc.

+ ONLINE COURSES: The discovery of the month for me were online courses. I've obviously heard about them before, but never quite got to do them. And since I'm all about educating yourself outside of class, that was just what I needed. My favorite service so far is Skillshare. If you have any favorite platforms or have taken any cool online courses, please let me know!

As always, you can stay up to date with my life on instagram ;)
